Oakdale Cemetery (Davenport, IA)

I think they’ve said it best on their own site. “It is one of the Quad Cities oldest and most beautiful cemeteries, boasting century-old Oaks, gently rolling hills and knolls, and a beautiful reflecting pond near the cemetery entrance. “

The photo above was taken in April, when ephemerals are just starting to pop up and it’s too muddy to get on trail. It’s a great spot for a walk in early spring, or any time of year when you need a paved path.
